How long will shipping take?
Shipping times depend on your relative location to Baltimore, Maryland. Shipments to the east coast usually take 1-2 business days while west coast shipments can take 4-5 business days. Please e-mail us for other shipping options.
Is the Demo-Dek available in stores?
Yes, several lumber yards in Maryland, and various other states carry the Demo-Dek. In addition, we are a vendor with 84 Lumber. The tool can be ordered at any of 84 Lumber’s 300+ locations with delivery within a few days to the store. If you dont see it, ASK!!
What size and thickness of decking can the Demo-Dek remove?
The Demo-Dek has been uitilized on everything from 5/4″ x 4″ to 2″ x 8″ with great success.
Does the Demo-Dek work on decking fastened with screws?
The Demo-Dek works on almost any deck removal scenario – such as nailed or screwed 5/4×4, 5/4×6, and 2×4, 2×6, or 2×8 deck planks. The decking can be straight or installed at a 45-degree angle. Screwed planks can take a bit more finesse but are removed almost as quickly as nailed boards. When removing screwed down or nailed thinner 5×4 boards, it usually works best to begin at one end and use the Demo-Dek with only enough force to loosen the board – this technique allows the most rapid displacement. If you attempt to completely defeat the screw in one motion the board might shatter. With 2×6 removal full force should be applied.
Does the Demo-Dek carry a warranty?
We warrant against manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year. We have had many units in severe daily commercial service for years without failure.

Homeowners and contractors love the design of the Demo-Dek. It is the only tool which allows the exclusive use from – with operation towards – the safe side.
When will the contractor model be released?
We expect the contractor series to be available late spring 2015. Don’t hesitate on buying the original Demo-Dek though. You will experience performance gains like you have never seen before.
